Our stocking policy continues with new fish being introduced in Ham Pool and Lake 1 at Wickwater. Ham received 200kg of tench and 150kg of bream. 100kg of tench and 150kg of bream have been put in Lake1. The tench averaged about 1Ib in weight whilst the bream averaged 1/2Ib. Lake 63 has also had some new fish. A few tench and some double figure carp are it's latest additions. |

Boilie Ban Lifted On Ham Pool |
As of April 1st 2004, boilies can again be used on Ham Pool. The commitee
have decided to lift the ban, but have said that it will have to be enforced again if excessive baiting is used. Down on the Match Lakes at Wick, the use of electronic bite alarms, and bivvies is not permitted. Anglers must also not use more than one rod at any time |

Work has begun at the rear of the clubhouse for a new shower unit to be
installed. We thought this would be a useful amenity, especially for
the long stay angler. To use the shower you will need to lease a key for a small fee,
for the duration of the membership year.
The gents toilets have had a facelift, and the ladies toilets are
being modified so they can also be used by anglers with disablities |
