Gillmans Lake 23/08/2014

I arrived at Gillman’s Lake at 13:00 and did’nt get a so much as a bite until 18:00. My fortunes changed and I landed a small Bream on a float using worm as bait. I changed tactics and opted for the Method Feeder and cast out near the reeds to my right and within 3-4 mintues I caught a Tench of 5lbs 1oz, 5 mintues after that a Tench of 2lbs 4.oz and finally the best Tench came along at roughly 19:35 and weighed in at 9lbs 12oz.. it gave a real good fight but after a while it too was landed. Nice day out and the venue is always a pleasure to fish from due to the good upkeep and maitenance from the Bailiff.
