After the recent government announcement and committee meetings held today, we will be able to open the following lakes from this Friday 15th May, Ham Pool, Gillman’s, Stait’s, and Franklin’s. Whitefriars lake and Dabchick will remain closed at present. Updates on these lakes will be given at a later date.

Although there does not appear to be any problem with night fishing in accordance to the Angling Trust website, it has been agreed that there will be NO Night Fishing at first but this will be reviewed in a fortnight, with the hope that we can all return to normal as soon as possible. Therefore, the present fishing hours will be from 8am until 18.00pm when all members will leave the premises.

There will be No day tickets for non-members

Due to Government guidelines there will be no keepnets and no matches of any kind. 

No sharing of fishing tackle or any other items

No sharing of swims except by when accompanied by a junior member from the same family.

Gates must be locked at all times with strict social distancing measures being adhered to at all times in accordance with Government guide lines.

Toilets will of course be open and hand wash will be available but we would request that you do bring your own hand sanitiser for personal use. And recommend that this is used frequently.

Please be aware that NO alcohol is allowed to be consumed on any of the lakes.

The committee appreciates that you have all been eagerly awaiting the return to angling and so these decisions have been taken to enable your safe return as fairly and safely as possible.

Anybody not adhering to any of these rules will be Banned.

Permits will be available from outside at the clubhouse on Ham Pool this Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 12-14thof May from 10am till 13.00pm for those who wish to join before Friday

You will need a passport photo and the correct money. (Cash Only) in an envelope with Name Address, Date of Birth and Phone Number written on the outside.
