During the year, SCAC’s Qualified Angling Coaches will be offering coaching sessions for novice anglers, improvers, and those returning to the sport. Our coaches can tailor the sessions to suit your needs and abilities. Each session lasts approximately one hour with all bait, tackle, and relevant licences supplied for the events.
We will also be holding 2 taster days for National Fishing Month. The taster sessions are FREE, and offer the opportunity to try your hand at fishing with one-to-one guidance from a friendly Qualified Angling Coach. The idea is to encourage every family member to have a go at fishing whatever the age, gender, or disability, or whichever cultural or social background they may be from. The sessions last approximately 30 minutes, with all fishing tackle, bait, and licences provided. After your fishing session there is an opportunity to do some pond dipping, to learn about the bugs and fish that live in our waters.
