New for the 2022 season we have acquired Stanton Lake at Stanton Fitzwarren on the outskirts of Swindon.
This mature reed fringed Lake of approximately five acres contains Tench, Bream, Roach & Rudd, some Crucians and perhaps a few Carp.
Fishing is from platforms which we are in the process of replacing. There are currently eleven new platforms in place with more to follow shortly.
As this is a Swindon Borough Council Lake night fishing is prohibited.
400lb of large Bream were added in February 2024 and there have been reports of nets of Bream of over 100lb coming out since and one of 260lb has been mentioned.
