Franklins 16/04/2015

I went for a late afternoon/evening session yesterday (16/04/15) at Franklins Lake, along the roadside, hoping to catch a tench. I fed hemp, caster and a few grains of corn, alternating between red maggot and corn on the hook. I hooked and landed a beautiful tench of 7.5Ib, my lifetime best, and what a fight!. I went on to catch three more and one just before I packed up 6.25Ib. I also caught some lovely Rudd and Roach, and all the fish were in prime condition. I returned home with some great photos of my fish and very happy!
