You will be aware of the agreement between your club and the Ross on Wye Angling Club for reciprocal course fishing arrangements for members on our respective waters.
We have a number of similar reciprocal arrangements with other clubs. Across the board in recent years we have found that these arrangements are improperly implemented, and present an unnecessary administrative burden to our volunteer committee members, while representing very little value for our members. In addition to this, our new lease stipulates that we must have the names of all the anglers who fish our waters (insurance reasons).
In this light, on Tuesday 1st February our committee members voted to end these agreements. I am therefore writing to let you know that we have terminated the reciprocal arrangement with your club with immediate effect from the date of this email. Please notify your members accordingly.
We apologise for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause and thank you for your cooperation to date.
